Helping Hand To Dignity by helping clients get back into mainstream - We offer help in obtaining Birth Certificates,
Identification Cards, Drivers Licenses, Professional
Licenses(when we have the funds) for local individuals who reside in the Flour Bluff/Padre Island(MUST PASS DRUG TEST)
Showers available daily from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00p.m.
Laundry may be done once a week between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00p.m.
HOT meals 5 days a week. (Average of 80 - 100
lunches served a day). We also provide clients with coffee and
pastries when we open at 10 a.m. and close at 1:00. Monday - Friday.
Our Crisis Pantry distributes over 4 tons of groceries to low & no income
families each month if they reside in the 78418-78419 zip code(over 1,400 clients registered).
Prescription Medication Assistance
( Must pass on site drug screen) Limited to prescription medications that have no street value.
In April 2009 we opened the William Allen Dental Clinic on our premises. Services include extractions(EXCLUDING Wisdom Teeth)WE ARE NOT EQUIPPED FOR ORAL SURGERY, x-rays and cleanings(when a hygienist is available) to low income/ non insured, DRUG FREE individuals from throughout the Coastal Bend area. It is NEVER a guarantee that an individual will be placed on the list. Certain medical conditions may disqualify someone from getting services through us. PLEASE CALL TO SEE WHEN THE NEXT AVAILABLE CLINIC WILL BE HELD.
Timon's provides free family medicine to non insured, low income patients. Staffed with a board certified M.D . Doctors office is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and is on a first come first serve basis.
